KUSIDO — The Way of Samurmeow
Kisokaidō [木曾街道] – “Central Mountain Road”
The Kisokaidō Road [木曾街道] connected Edo [江戸] with the then-capital of Kyoto [京都]. It was an alternate route to the Tōkaidō and travelled through the central part of Honshū, thus giving rise to its name, which means “Central Mountain Road”.
Along this road, there were 69 different post stations, which provided stables, food, and lodging for travelers.
On each station you can find and open an old relic in your collection. Collect all 69 old paintings and haiku poems!
